What is RPG Furnace?+
An AI chat and roleplay platform: party conversations with multiple AI characters, long-term memory, cinematic Theatre Mode, auto-generated illustrated books, and an equipment/item system for your characters.
How much does it cost?+
Two ways to pay: a subscription at $9.99 USD/month (or $99 USD/year) using your own API keys, or pay-as-you-go at roughly $0.02 USD per token (about $20 USD per 1,000 tokens) with no subscription required.
What AI models power it?+
You can bring your own key from the major AI providers, including any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — it isn't locked to a single vendor. D&D campaigns are the one exception: they always run on our own AI and are paid for in coins, so everyone at a table gets the same models and the same look.
Is NSFW content allowed?+
NSFW content is not permitted on this platform.
What happens to memory and chat history?+
Facts your characters learn are extracted per-conversation and recalled automatically. You can also add memories manually, either globally or scoped to one character.
Is my data private?+
